A niche fashion and luxury brand store based in New York, Soleplace (www.soleplace.com) offers discounted clothes, footwear, sunglasses, and other accessories online for men, women and kids with free Shipping in USA. Stocking top brands such as Nike, Adidas, Bcbgirls, D&G, Ralph Lauren, Just Cavalli, DSquared, Roberto Cavalli, Jordan and Northface, etc., our client is widely reckoned among the leading online fashion retailers in the US.
Soleplace connected with SunTec to build their initial eCommerce Storefront and bring their branded products to a larger audience, leveraging the flexibility of nopCommerce as a fully customizable shopping cart. Our objective was to create a brand new site on the nopCommerce framework, which would not only take care of the eCommerce Catalog Management and other back-end administration needs, usability and user experience but also provide a robust platform for growth in future years.
To explore different layouts and navigation styles, the eCommerce design team at SunTec created a couple of wireframes. Finally, we opted for an elegant and refreshingly modern online store design layout with a fixed sidebar menu that would set our client apart from the competition. It would offer a familiar, simple user experience, and powerful functionality ensuring Soleplace could grow and flourish unchecked, without worrying about going out of trend any time soon.
The nopCommerce Development team at SunTec developed a number of bespoke features for maximizing the effectiveness of this website. Key features of this site:
An interesting aspect of this project was the extensive use of Language Integrated Query (LINQ), a Microsoft .NET Framework component for conveniently querying and extracting data from numerous classes, XML documents, and relational databases.
Another notable feature of this site is that lazy loading is enabled on all product list and search pages that support the loading of related objects when accessed using a navigation property.
We also integrated a blog (inherently embedded in nopCommerce) into the Soleplace site, which powers the Latest Trends section.
The end result is a spectacular website with streamlined back-end operations. Feedback from the client has been amazing, with their new store effectively generating traffic and leads, and quite a few of their customers commenting on how impressed they are with the website.
