A Shopify eCommerce Website with JS-Based Calculator
We proposed Shopify as the foundation for their eCommerce framework, capable of supporting thousands of SKUs, secure payment transactions, and international growth. To address the most critical requirement, our developers integrated a custom JavaScript-based tile calculator seamlessly into product pages. Alongside, we ensured secure payment handling by integrating PayPal, Karna, and other global + localized gateways and designed a user-friendly front-end.

Custom Tile Calculator Development
Developed JavaScript logic to:
- Accept inputs in cm or m and convert them accurately.
- Calculate area (width × height) and align results to tiles-per-box packaging.
- Apply an optional wastage buffer (5–10%) for cutting and breakage.
- Allow adding/deducting multiple areas, such as different walls or window exclusions.
We also optimized logic to round results to full boxes, avoiding mismatches at checkout.
