DELNET (Developing Library Network) needed an integrated digital ecosystem with multiple web portals to replace its legacy resource-sharing system, aiming to enhance sharing, improve collaboration, and streamline access to educational content.
The Challenge
DELNET was established in the 1980s and formally registered as a society in the 1990s, making it one of India’s pioneering library networks. However, its decades-old legacy systems were largely reliant on manual processes, fragmented databases, and outdated technology. It started posing the following challenges.
