An Application on Indian Company Law with an in-app subscription model

Overview

CompaniesAct.in (formerly Indian Company Law) is a useful mobile application based on the Companies Act 2013 & 1956. This is a dedicated application for Indian Company law, with a prime focus on the new Companies Act 2013. Leveraging our custom mobile app development services, the client wanted us to develop a bespoke app that provides the Bare Act text and allows users to keep the users updated with app notifications, circulars, rules, etc. The CompaniesAct.in App uses an Internet connection: 3G or Wi-Fi when available.

Project Requirements

The clients’ main objective was to provide handy information about the Indian Company Law to the users through its dedicated app. Hiring dedicated app developers for the project, the client wanted us to develop an agile app using the latest tools & technologies. This iOS app would facilitate users to access and find all relevant information in the form of text, notifications, circulars, rules, etc. We were required to develop an agile app with multiple functionalities and rich features with excellent user experience.

The Challenges

Every development project has some challenges and complexities involved. After analyzing the objectives of the application, SunTec India’s experts estimated the possible challenges and chalked out methods to resolve them. Before starting the iOS mobile app development process, the development team planned and formulated a strategy to set the right programmers. The envisaged application was a real-time, robust, and user-friendly app that made easy access to information, updates, and comparison of Indian Company Laws. However, for this particular app development project, our team had to deal with the following challenges:

  • Incorporation of a lot of text of Companies Act 2013 & 1956, without making it chunky and dull
  • Easy navigation and easy search throughout the app to help users navigate from one screen to another without hassle
  • Equip the app with rich features like push notifications, circulars, compare sections of the act, etc
  • Tag notification & circulars with relevant sections for better understanding of users.
  • Add collaborative reading features where users can access the reference to other sections within a section by just click of a button.
  • Equip in-app purchases subscription model to the mobile application.
  • Defining relevant categories and subcategories of acts so that notes are easily accessible.

Solution Offered

Once the main challenges were identified, our developers brainstormed the app development strategy, keeping the end goals in mind.
